§ 24-2443. Compensation of auditors and certified public accountants
The auditors herein required to audit the accounts of a school district of the fourth class shall be allowed for their services ten dollars ($10) per day for each day necessarily spent by each of them in the performance of his duty, which, together with the cost of advertising their report, shall be paid by the school district. The compensation of any certified public accountant employed by a school district of the fourth class to audit the finances of the school district shall be fixed by the directors of the district, and paid by the district.
