§ 19-1915-A. Work force development courses
No later than January 1, 2002, the Department of Education shall, in consultation with the community colleges and the State Workforce Investment Board, establish criteria to identify noncredit courses which emphasize work force development and for which additional reimbursement may be required above the current noncredit reimbursement factor. The department shall also provide an estimate of the number of equivalent full-time students enrolled in noncredit courses which emphasize work force development had these criteria been in effect in the 2000-2001 fiscal year. This information shall be furnished to the chairman and minority chairman of the Appropriations and Education Committees of the Senate and the chairman and minority chairman of the Appropriations and Education Committees of the House of Representatives.
