§ 2844. Rules and regulations; advisory committee
The Department of Public Instruction1 shall have power to make, adopt and enforce rules and regulations for the enforcement of this act.2 The Superintendent of Public Instruction may appoint an advisory committee of seven members, two members of which shall be selected from persons active in the private driver education field, two members shall be public school administrators, one member shall be from the membership of the Pennsylvania Association of Highway Safety Educators, one member shall be from the personnel of the Department of Revenue, and one member shall be from the personnel of the Pennsylvania State Police. It shall be the duty of the committee to advise and to make recommendations to the department regarding rules and regulations for the licensing of schools and agents.
