§ 15-1545. Bill of Rights Week
The Department of Public Instruction1 shall designate a week during each year and prescribe a uniform course of exercises to be carried out during that week in the public schools to instill into the minds of the pupils thereof the purpose,2 meaning and importance of that portion of the Constitutions3 of the United States and of this Commonwealth known as the “Bill of Rights”. Such exercises shall be in addition to the prescribed courses of study in such schools.
