§ 7306. Transfer of persons in involuntary treatment
(b) In the absence of an emergency, persons committed pursuant to section 304(g)(2)1 may not be transferred unless written notice is given to the committing judge and the district attorney in the committing county and no objection is noted from either within 20 days of receipt of said notice. If the court or the district attorney objects to said transfer, a hearing shall be held by the court within 20 days to review the commitment order. A decision shall be rendered within 48 hours after the close of evidence.
