§ 65804. Assistant secretary
The board of supervisors may appoint an assistant secretary who shall assist the township secretary or, in the absence or disability of the township secretary, perform the duties of the township secretary. The assistant secretary may be appointed from the membership of the board of supervisors. The board of supervisors shall determine the compensation of the assistant secretary. When a supervisor is appointed assistant secretary, the board of auditors shall determine the compensation.
