53 P.S. § 53258
§ 53258. Investigations
The commission shall have power to make investigations concerning all matters touching the administration and enforcement of the provisions of this act and rules and regulations adopted thereunder. The acting chairman of the commission is hereby given power to administer oaths as oaths are administered by other public officers with the same force and effect and carrying the same penalties.
