§ 679.204. Requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program deemed minimum standards
The flood plain management regulations adopted by a municipality in order to comply with the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program1 shall be deemed minimum standards for the management of the flood plains, and no provision of this act shall be construed as in any way limiting the power of any municipality to adopt more restrictive ordinances, codes or regulations for the management of flood plains.
