§ 14751. Regulation of size, location and use of buildings; districts; buildings near parks
For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, order, and general welfare, cities of the first class may regulate the location, size, and use of buildings therein, and may make different regulations for different districts thereof. The park commission of any city of the first class may make such regulations as to the location, size, and use of buildings, any portion of which shall come within two hundred feet of any park, parkway, playground, or other public place under its care or management, and, upon their approval by the councils1 of such city, said regulations shall have the same effect as if originally made by said councils.
