§ 910-26. Agents; to be certified and appointed
(a) Agents shall make application for a certificate of qualification with the Insurance Department for authority to act as a title insurance agent in the manner provided for in section 603 of the act of May 17, 1921 (P.L. 789, No. 285), known as “The Insurance Department Act of 1921.” Upon certification, an agent may be appointed by a title insurer with notice of such appointment to the Insurance Department in the manner provided for in section 605 of “The Insurance Department Act of 1921.”1
(b) Certificates of qualification for agents shall expire biennially based on the date of original issue. Certificates of qualification shall be renewed in accordance with procedures and schedules set forth under section 601 of “The Insurance Department Act of 1921,”2 and any regulations promulgated thereunder.
