§ 33. Charitable societies, etc., may hold real and personal estate to the yearly value of $350,000
Any literary, religious, charitable or beneficial society, congregation, association or corporation having capacity to take and hold real and personal estate within the Commonwealth, may acquire and/or hold the same, regardless of when acquired, to the extent in the aggregate of the clear yearly value of three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000), and to no greater extent, without a decree of court in accordance with the acts of Assembly in such case made and provided. Such value shall be ascertained as provided by the act1 to which this is a supplement.
