§ 35. Appointment of receiver; sale of perishable property
In such proceedings, as soon as the fact of insolvency be made to appear, the court shall forthwith appoint a disinterested person as receiver, unless the insolvent has made an assignment for the benefit of his creditors or has given security to pay petitioner's debt. Property of a perishable nature or likely to deteriorate in value may be sold by leave of the court, the proceeds thereof to be substituted in lieu thereof.
