§ 6-623-A. School directors to remain in office and elections
(a) Resignation prohibited.--The school directors of a school district that has been declared in financial recovery status under this subdivision or is in receivership under Subdivision (vi)1 may not resign their offices, except with the consent of the chief recovery officer or receiver, and shall:
(i) removed from office for neglect of duty under the provisions of section 318;2 or
for the remainder of their terms during the time the school district is in financial recovery status or receivership.
(b) No interference with elections.--A declaration by the secretary that a school district is in financial recovery status under section 621-A3 or the appointment of a receiver under Subdivision (vi) shall in no way interfere with the regular election or reelection of school directors for the school district.
