§ 670-1004. Aid under federal highway acts
The secretary shall enter into all necessary contracts and agreements with the proper agencies of the government of the United States, and shall do all other things necessary and proper in order to obtain the benefits afforded under the provisions of the act of Congress, approved the eleventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred sixteen, entitled “An act to provide that the United States shall aid the States in the construction of rural postroads, and for other purposes,”1 and its supplements and amendments, or any other act of Congress providing Federal aid for highway purposes.
