§ 734.4. Status of existing licensees
(a) Apprentice auctioneers.--An individual licensed as an apprentice auctioneer on the effective date of this act shall thereafter possess the same rights and privileges and be subject to the same requirements pertaining to licensure as individuals to whom licenses as an apprentice auctioneer are issued under this act.
(b) Auctioneers.--A person licensed as an auctioneer on the effective date of this act shall thereafter possess the same rights and privileges as persons to whom licenses as an auctioneer are issued under this act.
(c) Licensed auction houses.--An auction house license issued under and pursuant to this act and existing on the effective date of this paragraph1 shall remain in full force and effect until the license shall expire and shall not be subject to renewal. Thereafter, auction house licenses will no longer be issued or renewed in this Commonwealth, and any holder of an expired auction house license who is not also the holder of an auction company license shall be required to obtain either an auction company license or an auctioneer license in order to continue in the business and profession of auctioneering in this Commonwealth.
