§ 782.5. Prohibited use of Governor's and Lieutenant Governor's Mansions and certain public buildings
(a) General rule.--It is unlawful to employ or use the facilities of:
(1) the official residence of the Governor of the Commonwealth, the Governor's Mansion, located in the City of Harrisburg; or
(2) the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth, the Lieutenant Governor's Mansion, located at Fort Indiantown Gap; for the purpose of holding a political fundraising event.
(b) Funds returned.--Funds raised upon the behalf of a candidate or committee in violation of the provisions of subsection (a) shall be reimbursed to the contributor.
(c) Penalty.--A person who knowingly and intentionally violates this act commits a summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $1,000.
