§ 271.17. Applicability of act
(2) Dentistry, as authorized by the act approved May 1, 1933 (P.L. 216, No. 76), known as “The Dental Law.”3
(3) Optometry, as authorized by the act approved March 30, 1917 (P.L. 21, No. 10), referred to as the Optometry Practice Law.4
(4) Chiropractic, as authorized by the act of August 10, 1951 (P.L. 1182, No. 264), known as the “Chiropractic Registration Act of 1951.”5
(5) Podiatry, as authorized by the act of March 2, 1956 (P.L. 1206, No. 375), reenacted and amended by the act of August 24, 1963 (P.L. 1199, No. 505), known as the “Podiatry Act of 1956.”6
(6) Professional nursing, as authorized by the act of May 22, 1951 (P.L. 317, No. 69), known as “The Professional Nursing Law.”7
(7) Psychologists, as authorized by the act of March 23, 1972 (P.L. 136, No. 52), referred to as the Psychologists License Act.8
(8) Medicine, as authorized by the act of July 20, 1974 (P.L. 551, No. 190), known as the “Medical Practice Act of 1974.”9
