§ 451. Milk sanitation (Adm. Code § 1711)
The Department of Agriculture shall have the power, and its duty shall be:
(a) To enforce, administer and carry out the provisions of the act, approved the second of July, one thousand nine hundred thirty-five (Pamphlet Laws 589),1 entitled “An act to safeguard human health and life by providing for the issuance of permits to, and regulation of persons and entities selling milk and milk products; conferring powers, and imposing duties on the Secretary of Health, the Advisory Health Board; and otherwise providing for the administration of the act; and imposing penalties”.
(b) To perform all duties and exercise all powers vested by such law or any other law in the Department of Health, the Secretary of Health or the Advisory Health Board and relating to the protection of the purity and sanitation of milk for human consumption.
