§ 454. Anaerobic manure digesters
The Department of Agriculture shall have the power and its duty shall be to administer the provisions of the act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 888, No. 128),1 known as the “Anaerobic Manure Digesters Act.” Any regulations, guidelines or statements of policy issued by the Pennsylvania Energy Office for the functions transferred in this section shall remain in effect until such time as the need arises to amend such regulations, guidelines or statements of policy. All allocations, appropriations, fixed assets, equipment, files, records, contracts, agreements, obligations and all other material and supplies which are used, employed or expended in the first instance by the Pennsylvania Energy Office in connection with the functions transferred by this section shall be transferred from the Pennsylvania Energy Office to the Department of Agriculture and shall be considered as if these contracts, agreements and obligations had been incurred or entered into by the Department of Agriculture in the first instance.
