§ 581-5. Planning and service area (Adm. Code § 2205-A)
The Commonwealth is currently divided into planning and service areas. These geographical subdivisions are established by the authority of the secretary under the Federal Older Americans Act of 1965,1 and may only be changed by order of the secretary under provisions set forth by the department for combining or dividing geographical areas to bring about more effective and efficient planning and service delivery.
