§ 323. Violation of act by recorder a misdemeanor; penalty
Recorders of deeds, in counties having a population of over five hundred thousand, permitting or allowing any deed, or other conveyance of real estate, to be entered of record unless the same shall have been previously registered in the office of the county commissioners, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor in office, and on conviction thereof by punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars.
