§ 23-2318. State aid for fiscal year 2011-2012
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, each library subject to the act of June 14, 1961 (P.L. 324, No. 188),1 known as The Library Code, shall be eligible for State aid for fiscal year 2011-2012, which shall consist of the following:
(i) Divide the amount of funding that the library received in fiscal year 2010-2011 under section 1722-L(12) of the act of April 9, 1929 (P.L. 364, No. 176),2 known as The Fiscal Code, by the total State-aid subsidy for fiscal year 2010-2011.
(3) If funds appropriated for State aid to libraries in fiscal year 2011-2012 are less than funds appropriated in fiscal year 2002-2003, the State Librarian may waive standards as prescribed in section 103 of The Library Code3 relating to hours of operation, continuing professional development, collections, expenditures and other aspects of library operation.
