§ 667. Violations of act; penalty
Any owner, operator, lessor, lessee, or general contractor, engaged in the mining of anthracite coal, or any president, director, general manager, superintendent or other person in charge of, or having supervision over, any anthracite coal mine or mining operation, who shall violate any provision of this act, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than five thousand dollars, or undergo imprisonment for not more than one year, both or either, at the discretion of the court.
