§ 1738-A.1. Workers' Compensation Security Fund transfer to COVID-19 Response Restricted Account
(a) Repayment.--Any amount transferred from the Workers' Compensation Security Fund under section 1726-M(e)1 which is not deposited under section 134-C(c)2 shall be repaid to the Workers' Compensation Security Fund by July 1, 2029. If the Commonwealth receives a payment of at least $145,000,000 from the Federal Government for the mitigation of general revenue losses incurred as a result of the public health emergency with respect to the Coronavirus Disease 2019, $145,000,000 of the payment shall be used to repay the Workers' Compensation Security Fund within 180 days of receipt from the Federal Government.
(b) Notice and expiration.--Upon determination by the Secretary of the Budget that the money transferred from the Workers' Compensation Security Fund under subsection (a) has been repaid to the Workers' Compensation Security Fund, the Secretary of the Budget shall transmit a notice to the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. This section shall expire upon publication of the notice under this subsection.
