§ 1708. Street lighting, ornamental lighting and traffic control signals and devices
Council may provide street lights and ornamental lighting and make regulations for the protection of lighting. Council may assess the costs for the erection of lighting in accordance with Chapter 21A (relating to assessments and charges for public improvements).1 Council may provide for the erection, maintenance and operation of traffic control signals and devices in accordance with 75 Pa.C.S. (relating to vehicles).
