§ 1854. Inmate of public institution outside of Commonwealth cannot acquire legal settlement by establishment of residence by husband, wife, etc.
No person now or hereafter confined in any public institution outside of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania shall acquire a legal settlement in this Commonwealth or in any county in this Commonwealth by virtue of the establishment of a residence in this Commonwealth of the husband, wife or parent or parents of the wife, husband or the minor child, as the case may be.
