§ 199. Copies of general drafts of donation lands to be evidence
The Surveyor General1 be and he is hereby authorized and required to make fair and accurate copies from general drafts of the several districts of donation lands now in his office, and that official copies taken from the said copies of the general drafts, as aforesaid, shall be evidence and have the same force and effect as copies taken from the original official drafts, agreeably to the provisions of an act passed March 24, 1818,2 entitled “A supplement to an act for directing the mode of distributing the donation lands promised the troops of this Commonwealth.”
