§ 383. Monthly accounts to be made
The Secretary of the Land Office1 shall monthly deliver to the Auditor General all the receipts of the State Treasurer which shall come into his office for moneys received at the Treasury, for lands sold and fees paid on warrants and patents; and the Secretary of the Land Office and Surveyor General,2 on their own oaths or affirmations, and the oaths or affirmations of their deputies or clerks engaged in the receipt of money, shall monthly account to the Auditor General, for all fees hereafter to be received in their offices, which moneys they are hereby directed to pay into the State Treasury.
