§ 6262. Definitions
Currentness
The following words and phrases when used in this act shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
“Advisory council.” The Rare Disease Advisory Council established in section 3.1
“Department.” The Department of Health of the Commonwealth.
“Rare disease.” A disease or condition that affects fewer than 200,000 individuals living in the United States.
“Secretary.” The Secretary of Health of the Commonwealth.
