§ 2. Instruments payable on Sunday
All bills of exchange, checks, drafts, and promissory notes made after the passage of this act, which by the terms thereof shall be payable on the first day of the week, commonly called Sunday, shall be deemed to be and shall be payable on the next succeeding secular or business day.
