§ 54101. Court may authorize election in new township
Hereafter when any new township shall be erected in any county of this commonwealth, it shall be lawful for the court of quarter sessions of the proper county to authorize the citizens of said new township to hold an election for magisterial district judges, and all other township officers, upon such notice as the court may direct.
