§ 12431. Parking lots
Council may acquire, by lease, purchase or condemnation proceedings, land that in its judgment may be necessary and desirable for the purpose of establishing and maintaining lots for the sole purpose of parking motor vehicles. Council may regulate the use of the land, including the posting of signs, and may establish or designate areas exclusively reserved for parking by individuals with disabilities. Regulation of parking lots shall be consistent with 75 Pa.C.S. (relating to vehicles) and the act of October 27, 1955 (P.L. 744, No. 222),1 known as the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.
