An Act relating to emergency management; appropriating disaster and emergency management funding; identifying revolving funds; establishing amounts, sources, and purposes; providing for noncodification; and declaring an emergency.
SUBJECT: Emergency management
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to the State Emergency Fund, created pursuant to Section 139.42 of Title 62 of the Oklahoma Statutes, from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, the sum of Fifteen Million Dollars ($15,000,000.00) to be utilized in accordance with law.
SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
There is hereby appropriated to the State Assistance Dedicated for Disaster-impacted Local Economies Revolving Fund, created pursuant to Enrolled House Bill No. 2912 of the 2nd Session of the 59th Oklahoma Legislature, from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the General Revenue Fund of the State Treasury for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, the sum of Thirty Million Dollars ($30,000,000.00) to be utilized in accordance with law.
SECTION 3. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
