RELATING TO THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION, THE UNITED NATIONS AND THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM
A Resolution relating to the World Health Organization, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum; expressing intent with regard to policies of state and local government.
WHEREAS, the State of Oklahoma is a sovereign governmental entity and through its elected officials, including the members of the Oklahoma House of Representatives is the appropriate entity to make law and policy for the people of the State of Oklahoma; and
WHEREAS, the political subdivisions of the State of Oklahoma are legally constituted pursuant to the authority of the Oklahoma Constitution and the Oklahoma Statutes and each such entity has a governing board equally capable of making decisions related to the health and welfare of the people of the State of Oklahoma; and
WHEREAS, the World Health Organization, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum are not government entities and do not have any authority to make law or policy that impacts the lives of the people of the State of Oklahoma; and
WHEREAS, the people of the State of Oklahoma have fundamental rights which should not be subject to the influence of nongovernmental entities such as the World Health Organization, the United Nations or the World Economic Forum.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 59TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
THAT the World Health Organization, the United Nations and the World Economic Forum should have no jurisdiction in the State of Oklahoma.
THAT the state and its political subdivisions, including, but not limited to counties, cities, towns, precincts, water districts, school districts, school administrative units, or quasi-public entities, should not engage in the enforcement of, or any collaboration with the enforcement of, any requirements, instructions, mandates, recommendations, or guidance provided by the World Health Organization, the United Nations or the World Economic Forum.
THAT any mandates, recommendations, instructions, communications or guidance issued by the World Health Organization, the United Nations or the World Economic Forum should not be used in this state as a basis for action, nor to direct, order or otherwise impose, contrary to the constitution and laws of the State of Oklahoma any requirements whatsoever, including those for masks, vaccines or medical testing, or gather any public or private information about the state's citizens or residents, and shall have no force or effect in the State of Oklahoma.
