COUNTIES AND COUNTY OFFICERS
An Act relating to counties and county officers; amending 19 O.S. 2021, Section 514.3, which relates to fingerprinting fees; providing for increase in fee amount for fingerprint cards; providing maximum fee amount; and providing an effective date.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:

SECTION 1. AMENDATORY 19 O.S. 2021, Section 514.3, is amended to read as follows:
Section 514.3. The sheriff may charge Five Dollars ($5.00) an amount not to exceed Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per card for fingerprinting individuals. This section shall not be applicable to fingerprinting individuals pursuant to the Oklahoma Self–Defense Act. All fees collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited into the Sheriff's Service Fee Account.
SECTION 2. This act shall become effective November 1, 2022.
