OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
An Act relating to the Office of the Attorney General; transferring remaining balances of prior appropriations to certain revolving funds; specifying amounts; identifying sources and destinations of transfers; providing purposes; providing for noncodification; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency.
SUBJECT: Office of the Attorney General
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
TRANSFER: Of the funds originally appropriated to the Office of the Attorney General pursuant to Section 1 of Enrolled House Bill No. 2958 of the 2nd Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature, the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall transfer the sum of Four Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($4,550,000.00) to the Victims of Human Trafficking and Prevention Revolving Fund created in Section 748.3 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes to be budgeted and expended in accordance with law.
SECTION 2. NEW LAW A new section of law not to be codified in the Oklahoma Statutes reads as follows:
TRANSFER: Of the funds originally appropriated to the Office of the Attorney General pursuant to Section 124 of Enrolled Senate Bill No. 1040 of the 2nd Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature, the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall transfer the sum of Seven Million Eight Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($7,896,567.00) to the Federal Overreach and Extraordinary Litigation Revolving Fund created by Enrolled House Bill No. 4066 of the 2nd Session of the 59th Oklahoma Legislature to be budgeted and expended in accordance with law.
SECTION 3. This act shall become effective July 1, 2024.
SECTION 4. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
