CONGRATULATING THE OKLAHOMA CITY BLUE FOR WINNING THE 2024 NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION G LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP
A Resolution congratulating the Oklahoma City Blue for winning the 2024 National Basketball Association G League Championship.
WHEREAS, the Oklahoma City Blue celebrate their tenth year in Oklahoma City this year as an affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder; and
WHEREAS, the OKC Blue claimed the title of 2023–24 National Basketball Association (NBA) G League Western Conference Champions, and advanced to the G League Finals for the second time; and
WHEREAS, the OKC Blue went on to win the NBA G League Championship for the first time in team history after a 117–100 victory over the Maine Celtics.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE OF THE 2ND SESSION OF THE 59TH OKLAHOMA LEGISLATURE:
THAT the Oklahoma State Senate congratulates the OKC Blue for their 2024 NBA G League Championship win.
