OKLAHOMA BROADBAND OFFICE
An Act relating to the Oklahoma Broadband Office; making an appropriation; stating a purpose; and declaring an emergency.
Subject: Oklahoma Broadband Office
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Oklahoma Broadband Office created pursuant to Enrolled House Bill No. 3363 of the 2nd Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature from any monies not otherwise appropriated from the Statewide Recovery Fund created pursuant to Enrolled House Bill No. 3349 of the 2nd Session of the 58th Oklahoma Legislature, the sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the Oklahoma Broadband Office by law.
SECTION 2. It being immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health or safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, by reason whereof this act shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
In accordance with Article VI, Section 11, of the Oklahoma Constitution, Senate Bill 5XX has become law without the Governor’s signature. It was filed with the Oklahoma Secretary of State on June 22, 2022.
