Section 1. Requirements for a Judicial Legal Internship License for the State of Oklahoma
A. The applicant must:
1. Have completed not less than thirty academic hours toward completion of his law degree or completed his first year of law study as a full time law student.
2. Rank in the top fifty percent of his class at his school or college of law.
3. Have the approval of his law school Dean.
4. Have secured employment under the supervision of a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of Oklahoma, a Judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals or a Judge of the Court of Appeals of the State of Oklahoma.
5. Have registered as a law student with the Board of Bar Examiners of the Oklahoma Bar Association and have been accepted as such; provided that, students from outside the State of Oklahoma, who are attending law school in the State of Oklahoma, and who have completed similar registration in states of their residence, if required, and have received approval from those states, are exempt from registering as a law student in the State of Oklahoma upon a satisfactory showing of the registration and approval.
B. The applicant must be approved by a panel of attorneys created as hereinafter provided in Section II. This approval shall be granted only after the applicant has passed an examination approved and administered by the Legal Internship Committee.
