§ 42. Time of recording--Effect of failure to record within time specified
An assignment for the benefit of creditors is void against creditors of the assignor, and against purchasers and encumbrancers in good faith and for value, if the assignment is not recorded, and the inventory required by Section 2211 filed, pursuant to Section 223,2 within twenty (20) days after date of assignment.
