§ 2. Conveyance by holder of deed intended as security as assignment
Any conveyance other than as above provided,1 by one holding under an instrument purporting to be a conveyance, but intended as security, shall be deemed and treated as an assignment and transfer of the mortgage rights of and indebtedness due the maker thereof.
