§ 3111.2. Definitions
As used in the Oklahoma Health Care Agent Act:
4. “Capacity” means an individual's ability to understand and appreciate the nature and implications of a health care decision, to make an informed choice regarding the alternatives presented including understanding and appreciating the significant benefits and risks, and to make and communicate a health care decision in an unambiguous manner;
Health care decision shall not include the ability of the agent to make decisions about the withholding or withdrawal of nutrition or hydration;
7. “Health care facility” means any public or private organization, corporation, authority, partnership, sole proprietorship, association, agency, network, joint venture, or other entity that is established and appropriately licensed in this state to administer or provide health care services. Health care facility includes but is not limited to hospitals, medical centers, ambulatory surgery centers, physicians' offices, clinics, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, home care agencies, hospices, and long-term care agencies;
