The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) invites the bidding public to search the OCFS On-Line Bidder's List (OBL), at the address indicated below for upcoming bidding opportunities. It is anticipated beginning with the May 27th publication of the New York State Register, and continuing for several months, the bidding opportunities may include but are not limited to the following program areas:

The OCFS OBL is maintained electronically and can be found at https://ocfs.state.ny.us/obl/. If you wish to receive announcements of these and future OCFS procurement opportunities and be able to download solicitation documents, you must register on the OBL. If you choose to register, you will be prompted to provide certain demographic information about yourself and the organization or government agency you represent along with indentifying the service categories in which you are interested.

Operation Impact - Tools Program
Subject to availability of funding, the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit applications from local government agencies for the Operation Impact - Tools Program. Approximately $800,000 will be available. The RFP is available on the DCJS website at http://www.criminaljustice.state.ny.us/ofpa/newrfp.htm. DCJS will receive applications starting on July 1, 2009; applications must be submitted by noon on July 31, 2009. DCJS will continue receiving applications based on the availability of funds on a monthly basis.

Community Based Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program (CBAPP)
The New York State Department of Health (DOH) is issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) for the Community Based Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention program. Funds for this proposal will be utilized to increase comprehensive, age appropriate, evidence based, and medically accurate sexuality education and to encourage the development of collaborations/partnerships with other community organizations to increase multidimensional support services in order to decrease rates of adolescent pregnancy.
Applications will be accepted through 8/12/09 for approximately $5,300,000 in contracts from municipalities, such as city and county health departments, and youth bureaus; and not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations, including, but not limited to, community-based health and human service providers, and local health and human service agencies with the capacity, competence and experience to provide the services described in this RFA. Current CBAPP projects may apply to enhance or expand their program into additional high need areas, through direct service provision and/or subcontract with other community based organizations. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity, competence and experience to meet the requirements of the RFA as well as the ability to provide the services.
