TYPE OF RECIPIENT

The United Way of New York State, in conjunction with local United Ways throughout New York State, is being awarded a contract to expand Earned Income Tax Credit outreach and free tax preparation services across New York State. This effort will place particular focus on rural communities. These funds are being awarded to supplement a Bank of America grant and will be used to fund media costs and materials development and distribution.

APPLICATIONS

A total of $16,500 is being made available to United Way of New York State. The contract will be written for a one-yea term beginning January 1, 2009.
