Notice of Abandoned Property Received by the State Comptroller
Pursuant to provisions of the Abandoned Property Law and related laws, the Office of the State Comptroller receives unclaimed monies and other property deemed abandoned. A list of the names and last known addresses of the entitled owners of this abandoned property is maintained by the office in accordance with Section 1401 of the Abandoned Property Law. In accordance with the standing of the Board of Regents and the Commissioner of Education as the nationally recognized accrediting agency for purposes of Title IV and other Federal funds for Technical Career Institutes located in New York City, New York College of Health Professions located in Syosset, NY, and Christie's, Inc. located in New York City, the State Education Department hereby gives notice that the Board of Regents has taken the following actions:
(•) On May 22, 2007, renewed the institutional accreditation of Technical Career Institutes for five years effective May 22, 2007 to May 22, 2012.
(•) On May 22, 2007, granted institutional accreditation with conditions to New York College of Health Professions for a period of three years beginning immediately and ending on May 22, 2010.
(•) On May 22, 2007, granted institutional accreditation with conditions to Christie's, Inc. for a period of five years beginning immediately and ending on May 22, 2012.

Notice is hereby given that the New York State Office of General Services has declared that a portion of 5217 S. Main Street, located in the Village of South Fallsburgh, County of Sullivan, is no longer useful for State program purposes and has been declared abandoned to the Commissioner of General Services for sale or other disposition as unappropriated State land. This abandonment was approved May 10, 2007.

Involved is the requirement of fencing surrounding a lumber yard. The subject property consists of a B Occupancy (F-1 Moderate Hazard) Steel Building, one story in height, having a cumulative gross floor area of 22,000 square feet. The building is known as D&F Pallet and is located at 134 Clinton Ave., Village of Fredonia, Chautauqua County, State of New York.
2007-0893 Matter of Ronald I. Kessler, AIA, 500 E. Sixth Street, Jamestown, NY 14701 for a variance concerning issues dealing with accessibility for the physically handicapped for a Judges Bench in the Chautauqua County Courthouse.
Involved is the alteration of a Judges Bench area within the Chautauqua County Courthouse in a building of B/A3 occupancy, three stories in height, of Type IIA non-combustible construction having a cumulative gross floor area of 29,716 square feet. The building is located at 3 North Erie Street, Village of Mayville, Chautauqua County, State of New York.
2007-1019 Matter of Paul E. Scoville, Collins & Scoville, Architects, PC, 40 Beaver Street, Albany, NY 12207, for a variance concerning fire safety issues including the code prohibition against openings in party walls.
Involved is the expansion of an architectural office from one building into a neighboring building by constructing openings in the party wall between the two buildings. The building contains a B business occupancy is six stories in height of Type IB fire resistive construction having a cumulative gross floor area of 51,000 square feet. The building is located at 50 Beaver Street, City of Albany, Albany County, State of New York.
2007-1020 Matter of Steven G. Rowland, Architect, of Butler Rowland Mays, Architects, LLP for an appeal of the CEO's decision requiring the installation of a sprinkler system in the building.
Involved is the change of occupancy of an existing building one story in height, of Type IIB construction containing an H-3 high hazard occupancy and having a cumulative gross floor area of 13,000 square feet. The building is located at 748 Pierce Road, Town of Clifton Park, Saratoga County, State of New York.
