Pursuant to subdivision 5 of Section 23-1101 of the Environmental Conservation Law, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation hereby gives public notice of the following:
The Department has determined that public bids for the leasing of parcels of State land totaling 33.61 acres of State Route 13 in the Town of Veteran, Chemung County for oil and natural gas production is unreasonable and impracticable.
The Department intends to lease such lands to Fortuna Energy, Inc. for such purpose.

Department of Health
Notice of Request for Information (RFI) for Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for WIC.
The purpose of the RFI is to gather stakeholder input regarding potential changes in several key program areas of the New York State (NYS) Department of Health (DOH) Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). Information gathered from responses to the RFI may be used by the NYS WIC program when issuing the Request for Applications (RFA) to bidders interested in becoming WIC local agencies. Responses to the RFI are due close of business April 2, 2007.

Involved is the construction of a new parking garage S2 occupancy, of Type 11B non combustible construction, 2 stories in height having a cumulative gross floor area of 71,000 square feet. The subject building is located at the corner of Woodlawn Avenue and Walton Street in the City of Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County, State of New York.
2005-0320 Matter of Laura E. Ryder, Troy Architectural Program, PC 210 River Street, Troy, NY 12180 for a variance concerning fire safety issues including the code requirement for a sprinkler system in the building and also plumbing showers for the occupants, in an Group I-1 institutional occupancy.
Involved is the reconstruction of an existing two story building, proposed to have a temporary I-1 institutional occupancy, of Type IIB non-combustible construction, having a cumulative gross floor area of 3,600 square feet. The subject building is located at 614 Cooper Hill Road, Town of North Greenbush, Rensselaer County, State of New York.
2007-0274 Matter of Richard DeThomasis, 1 Rapp Road, Albany, NY 12203, for a variance concerning fire safety issues including exits from an upper floor.
Involved reconstruction of an R-2 multiple dwelling, 5 stories in height of Type IIIB ordinary construction having a cumulative gross floor area of 35,000 square feet. The building is located at 522 Washington Avenue, City of Albany, Albany County, State of New York.
