4D.14 Longitudinal Positioning of Signal Faces
DELETE Paragraph 03.
INSERT the following after A.3. in Paragraph 01:
Standard:
4. No face shall be more than 30 feet beyond the intersecting roadway.
INSERT the following paragraphs:
Standard:
01A A primary separate left-turn or separate right-turn signal face that does not meet the location requirements of Paragraph 01 shall be located longitudinally not less than 15 nor more than 120 feet beyond the stop line on the lanes controlled.
Guidance:
02A When used, supplemental signal faces should be located longitudinally at, or not more than 120 feet beyond, the stop line in the lane or lanes each controls.
