2B.19 Intersection Lane Control Signs (R3-5 through R3-8)
DELETE Paragraph 09.
INSERT the following paragraphs:
Standard:
02A Intersection Lane Control signs shall be used where lane designations prohibit movements normally permitted by law. (e.g., An R3-5 or R3-7 sign may be used to prohibit through movement from a lane which is designated for left turns only.) These signs shall also be used where lane designations permit movements normally not allowed by law. (e.g., An R3-6 sign may be used to permit left turns from a lane which ordinarily could be used only for a through movement.)
08A At roundabouts, Intersection Lane Control (R3-5, R3-6, and R3-8 series) signs shall display fish-hook arrows, and the arrow for the left-most lane shall include an oval symbolizing the central island as shown in Figure 2B-5.
