This Part sets forth the requirements and procedures for the training in fire supervision of first-line supervisors of paid fire departments who are promoted to such position after passing a civil service examination on or after April 1, 1985. All such personnel are required to submit a written application for such training within 30 days after their date of appointment, and to attend and complete such training when offered by the New York City Fire Academy. All such procedures shall be approved by the Department of State.
