In the event an original award for deposit in the aggregate trust fund is affirmed on review or appeal, the interest at the rate provided in section 5004 of the Civil Practice Law and Rules which is payable direct to the claimant on past due and unpaid compensation payments shall be calculated on such past due compensation covering not only periods up to the date of valuation of aggregate trust fund deposit but also on past due and unpaid compensation payments covering the period from the date of valuation of aggregate trust fund deposit up to the date of affirmance of the award.
